If the chairlift is called Paradiso, there must be a reason?!
You will discover it when you reach the summit as the darkness begins to give way to daylight, then unleash your gaze over the valley, with the Cimon della Pala so close it will take your breath away.
And then, once the sun peeks out from between the rocks, down the pristine slopes of Passo Rolle to reach a tasty breakfast in the malga with products from the Dolomites cheese route.
These are the ingredients of this #Trentinoskisunrise that will take you to one of the most glorious and historic places in the Dolomites.
For those who don’t ski, the day continues with a charming and fun guided snowshoeing through the gentle slopes and dense woods, in the heart of the Paneveggio Pale di San Martino Natural Park.
Program
- 06:15: meeting at Malga Rolle. At 2000 meters the air is crisp, so a good hot coffee will give us the right boost to experience this unique adventure!
- 06:30: here we go, we start! The Paradiso chairlift is open just for us. We go up to reach the ridge of Tognazza… upon reaching the top, the first light of dawn opens up a unique curtain before our eyes, with a 360° view of the legendary Pale di San Martino and Lagorai. To warm us up, Elisa from Erborì will offer us her herbal Good Morning tea with Primiero herbs. Needless to say, up here it really feels like being in Paradise!
- 06:50: the pristine slopes of Passo Rolle await us: we will be the first to leave our mark with our tracks on the perfectly groomed trails. All that’s left is to strap on our boots and enjoy a memorable ski run. The ski instructors from San Martino di Castrozza will give you useful tips on how to tackle the Fiamme Gialle slope quickly and safely.
- 07:30/08:30: we arrive at Malga Rolle where a fantastic breakfast awaits us… to enjoy around the fireplace! Here you will have a feast to choose from: milk, butter, yogurt, and cheeses made on-site, as well as local cold cuts, eggs, honey, jams, and juices from Agritur Dalaip dei Pape, finishing with exquisite cakes from the Primiero tradition… in short, temptations for the palate will be plentiful!
- 08:30: we know… before leaving you planned to go straight back under the covers… but we have no doubt, after this energy boost you will have already changed your mind: a fantastic ski run at the foot of Cimon della Pala doesn’t happen every day! But if you prefer the charm of untouched snow, strap on your snowshoes for a wonderful hike with our guides, the Eagles of San Martino, to discover the wonders of the Paneveggio Pale di San Martino Natural Park and its Forest of Violins.
Cost: €37.00 adults | €27.00 Juniors up to 12 years | FREE for children up to 8 years (not completed) with a paying adult (recommended participation for children aged 6 and up)
Prices include extraordinary and exclusive opening with one-way and potential return via the chairlift, descent with ski instructors, breakfast, and potential guided snowshoeing (equipment included).
The initiative will take place with a minimum of 30 participants. Participation is limited, max 40 people in total.
The snowshoeing option is by reservation (equipment provided by Alpine Guides – minimum age 9 years). In case of strong winds that prevent the opening of the lift, or in particularly adverse weather conditions, the initiative will be postponed to Sunday, February 9, with the possibility of a refund for those who cannot take advantage of the recovery date.
