If the lift is called Paradiso, there must be a reason?! You will discover it as you ascend to the top when the darkness starts to give way to the light of day, allowing your gaze to view the valley, with the Cimon della Pala so close that it almost takes your breath away. And then, once the sun peeks out between the rocks, down the immaculate slopes of Passo Rolle to reach a delicious breakfast at the malga with products from the Cheese Road of the Dolomites. These are the ingredients of this #Trentinoskisunrise that will take you to one of the most glorious and historic places in the Dolomites.
For those who don’t ski, the day continues with a suggestive and fun guided snowshoe hike through gentle slopes and dense forests, in the heart of the Paneveggio Pale di San Martino Natural Park.
Program
- 6:15 a.m.: meeting at Malga Rolle. At 2000 meters the air is crisp so a good hot coffee will give us the right boost to live this unique experience!
- 6:30 a.m.: here we go, it’s starting! The Seggiovia Paradiso is open just for us. We ascend until we reach the ridge of Tognazza… upon reaching the top, the first lights of the daybreak open before our eyes a unique curtain, with a 360° view of the legendary Pale di San Martino and the Lagorai. To warm us up, we will have a hot herbal tea from Buongiorno with Primiero herbs from Erborì. It goes without saying, but up here it really feels like being in Paradiso!
- 6:50 a.m.: the immaculate slopes of Passo Rolle are waiting for us! We will be the first to leave our mark with our tracks on the perfectly groomed runs. All we have to do is strap on our boots and enjoy a memorable ski experience. The instructors from the Italian Ski School San Martino di Castrozza will give you useful tips on how to tackle the Fiamme Gialle slope quickly, prudently, and at the same time, enjoyably.
- 7:30/8:30 a.m.: we arrive at Malga Rolle where a fantastic breakfast awaits us… to be enjoyed around the fireplace! Here you will be spoiled for choice: milk, butter, yogurt, and cheeses from our production, as well as local cold cuts, eggs, honey, jams, and juices from Agritur Dalaip dei Pape, ending with exquisite traditional cakes from Primiero… in short, temptations for the palate will not be lacking!
- 8:30 a.m.: we know… before leaving you had planned to go back under the covers immediately… but we have no doubt, after this energy boost you will have already changed your mind: a great ski run at the foot of the Cimon della Pala does not happen every day! If, however, you prefer the allure of untouched snow, strap on the snowshoes and set off for a wonderful excursion with our guides, the Eagles of San Martino, to discover the wonders of the Paneveggio Pale di San Martino Natural Park and the Forest of Violins.

- €35.00 Juniors up to 12 years
- Children FREE up to 8 years – not completed - with a paying adult (participation recommended for children from 6 years and up)
The prices include exclusive extraordinary opening with going up and possible return by lift, descent with ski instructors, breakfast, and possible guided snowshoeing (equipment included: snowshoes and poles).
The initiative will take place with a minimum of 30 participants. The participation is limited, max 40 people in total. The snowshoe option is by reservation (equipment provided by the Alpine Guides – minimum age 9 years)
In case of strong winds that prevent the opening of the lift, or in particularly adverse weather conditions, the initiative will be postponed to Sunday 7 February with the possibility of a refund for those who cannot participate on the recovery date.
