Guided excursion dedicated to the theme of Stone, following the Mountain Ring (from Ponte Stel - Caoria - to Malga Miesnotta di Sopra), one of the four thematic rings that make up the Ethnographic Path of Vanoi. The route offers the opportunity to appreciate the geological, environmental, and cultural aspects of the territory, through artifacts that testify to the deep connection between man and the mountain: retaining walls, terraces, paved paths, alpine pastures, and rural buildings made with "dry stone"; works of art that time has not eroded, built with skill and respect for the environment, telling stories of life, labor, and adaptation to alpine conditions.
Technical characteristics of the route: 11.9 km in length, approximately 760 m of total elevation gain, 4.45 hours of overall walking time. The trek involves mountain trails that are not accessible by strollers (even those with three wheels); children can only be transported in a proper backpack if they are not walking independently.
Minimum 4 participants.
Included services: guided excursion by a guide from the Ecomuseum of Vanoi; shuttle bus from Caoria (Casa del Sentiero Etnografico) to the starting point of the trek; entrance to ecomuseum sites open that day (Casa del Sentiero Etnografico, Museum of War)
