Sashiko Lab: how to creatively repair and reinvent garments, with Manuela Zanolla.
Using some traditional Japanese techniques such as Sashiko Boro, a patch becomes an embroidery and a stain becomes a flower, because a flaw does not always need to be hidden. Four meetings to learn how to repair and enhance your garments while also reducing waste from a textile industry that is now out of control.
The course is open to everyone; no special knowledge or skills are required, and it is possible to participate in just one meeting.
