It is Christmas Eve, and the “Comedy Troupe” has disbanded due to a lack of stories. Pantalone wanders the markets selling trinkets, Balanzone acts as Santa Claus's helper, Arlecchino serves in the Devil's house, and Colombina has emigrated. Ginetto finds himself all alone; however, on Christmas night, a guardian angel arrives on Earth to protect him from danger. But as always, the Devil has his hand in it....
