A day of walking and observing ancient fruit trees, both wild and planted by the local population around their farms. The Ancient Fruit Trail, a thematic route already used by local guides for work, is born from an idea by Maurizio Gaio and Slow Food Primiero, in collaboration with the Valley Community.

This route closely follows the already existing Via Nova, a popular path among the local population and beyond, which connects Fiera di Primiero to Passo Gobbera. On October 18, the walk will end a bit before Passo Gobbera, at an immense beech tree, known as "el fagheròn".

The excursion, organized by Stefano Gaio in collaboration with Pace Primiero and Slow Food Primiero, will be interspersed with reflections on the genocide currently occurring in Palestine, reconnecting with themes such as solidarity, peace, and food.

To support the population of Gaza and Palestine, all funds raised will go directly to the CESVI foundation, which works on various projects to help the Palestinian people.

Difficulty: easy.
Positive elevation gain: 292 m
Length: 6.7 km
Walking time only: 2 hours and 15 min.
Max 30 people (including any non-paying individuals under 16 years old).

Necessary materials: sneakers or hiking shoes, appropriate clothing for the weather, water, and packed lunch.

In case of bad weather, the activity will be rescheduled for an autumn date of the current year or for a spring date in 2027.
