After a warm welcome and an introductory reading, we will walk along the shores of the Lake Calaita, exploring a natural basin shaped over millennia by the power of glaciers. The path will become an opportunity for a journey through time: we will observe the shapes of the landscape molded by the ancient glacial blankets that once covered the area and discover the status of the Park's glaciers, guardians of an increasingly rare and precious solid water. During the walk, the view will span across alpine flora and surrounding peaks. An engaging guided experience to read a chapter from the millennial history of the Park.
The initiative will take place outdoors (weather permitting). Comfortable, layered clothing suitable for going outside is therefore recommended.
The activities are designed for families with children aged 5 to 12 years (recommended age range for fully experiencing the proposals). However, families with younger/older children are still welcome to participate.
Participation is free of charge (reservation recommended).
