Considered among the most spectacular mountain landscapes in the world, the Dolomites of Primiero will be the competition ground for a challenge in the world of mountain bike marathons.
"A perfect playground" for those who love the mountains, their landscapes, tranquility, and outdoor disciplines.
A unique course within which athletes will compete for victory in this exciting race. A unique and inimitable course, where the effort will be compensated by the incredible landscape that only the Pale di San Martino can boast.
The ‘myths’ of the Marathon Mythos Primiero Dolomiti, whose slogan indeed states "Create myths about yourselves, even the gods started this way," are ready to write their own story in the toughest and most spectacular discipline of the granfondo in mountain biking.
The myths will descend to Earth on September 13 on their mountain bikes to compete in a place just as mythical in the sports imagination as the Pale di San Martino, a symbol of the Dolomites and a site declared a UNESCO World Heritage site.
The program* includes three races dedicated to amateurs and professionals on three courses:
- 8:30 AM: Marathon of 82.1 km and 3400m of elevation gain with start and finish in Fiera di Primiero, exclusively dedicated to elite athletes;
- 10:30 AM: Classic of 56.3 km and 2110m of elevation gain with start and finish in Fiera di Primiero;
- 10:40 AM: Easy of 42.8 km and 1480m of elevation gain with start and finish in Fiera di Primiero;
