The Siror Christmas Market, the oldest Christmas market in Trentino, as tradition has it, prepares to transform the ancient village of Primiero into a romantic Christkindlmarkt .
The characteristic wooden huts, the ancient barns and the stables of the historic center will turn into picturesque shops where you can find original Christmas gifts: decorations, nativity scenes, handcrafted productions, and numerous tempting treats, both sweet and savory, such as the typical brazedel di Siror, the Trentino zelten, cured meats, honey, pancakes, and many other delights.
Highly recommended is a tour of the village aboard the troika , a traditional horse-drawn sleigh, and a stop at the exhibition competition "My Christmas Tree", where you can find ideas and inspirations for a tree different from the usual and vote for the most original tree.
During the Christmas Market, sculptors from all over Italy will participate in the traditional Art Christmas Sculpture Symposium and will create, under the curious gaze of the public, small wooden masterpieces.
Given the proximity to the San Martino di Castrozza-Passo Rolle slopes , which are only 13 kilometers away, a visit to the Siror Christmas Market will become a great opportunity to beautifully conclude the first ski outings of the season.
