Marco and Pippo the only duo that is a trio return to the stage with a new comedic-theatrical adventure where everything, but truly everything, is… incalmà. In Veneto it means “implanted,” and indeed in the show the historical characters and some new ones from the famous trio find themselves intertwined like the branches of an old tree that has decided to laugh heartily.
The scene is populated by a gallery of memorable characters, each with their own story that – in absurd, poetic, and irresistibly comedic ways – ends up slotting into the stories of others. Amidst dazzling gags, Venetian dialect that smells of home, musical moments, and that fresh and surreal comedy typical of Marco and Pippo, the audience is swept into a vortex of hilarious situations… where the only rule is: laugh!
But, between one laughter and another, “Incalmati” also reminds us that we are all connected, all “implanted”: human beings who, although different, aim towards the same direction – the brightest of all: happiness.
