Speed Chess Tournament "The 100 Queens".
Participants will be able to play chess in a unique setting that smells of history. 50 chessboards will be ready to welcome 100 players who will challenge each other inside the Hall of the Palace of Mines for the title and the coveted trophy, but above all by participating in the game, they will send a strong signal. The Chess Tournament is indeed for charity: make your move against violence towards women!
Program
- 9:30 a.m.: registration and confirmation of players' presence, necessary for the composition of rounds and pairings
- 10:00 a.m.: first round
- 12:45 p.m.: lunch break
- 3:00 p.m.: fifth round, afternoon resumption
- 5:00 p.m.: awards
Game Rounds: 7 rounds of play with Swiss system
Thinking Time: 12 minutes + 3 seconds per move with Fischer system
Prize Pool: €1,000.00. All first places are indivisible, non-cumulative and assigned by technical tiebreak.

Regulations
- Admissions: players registered through the previously mentioned methods are allowed to the tournament, no competitive card is required.
- Electronic Devices: in derogation of the Regulations, it is specified that a player can keep their cell phone at the playing site, as long as it is turned off and in a closed bag.
- Delays: a player arriving after their time has expired on the clock will lose the game.
- Privacy: participation in the tournament implies consent from each player for the publication of certain personal data, the result achieved and more; for minors, such consent is implicitly given by the parents or by those exercising parental authority. At the tournament, explicit and separate consent will be requested for publishing images or other materials via a specific form in accordance with the Privacy Notice (formerly Art. 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679-GDPR).
- Players with Disabilities: players with disabilities who have specific requirements are kindly requested to notify the organization in advance.
- General Rules: for anything not covered in this announcement, the rules of the FSI Technical Regulations apply. The Tournament Direction and the organization reserve the right to make any changes necessary for the better success of the event. The referees' judgement is final. The referees may use ANTI-CHEATING systems at the playing site.
- Tiebreak Criteria: direct confrontation, Buchholz cut1, Sonneborn-Berger, APRO.
