What is LAPIS?
The depopulation and abandonment of buildings in the historic center of Sagron have also led to its degradation, with ruined buildings, indecorous constructions, and a general lack of care and maintenance.
The first goal that Pro Loco wanted to pursue with Lapis was to breathe new life into Sagron's historic center by beautifying its walls and corners, thanks to some murals created by selected artists and an exhibition of illustrations that also highlights the less cared-for corners of the village.
The second goal is related to the involved artists and consists of networking some artists/illustrators through residential workshops where they can work together and make Sagron Mis a sort of “magical place” for meeting, reconnecting, and creating something creative together.
The third goal is to create a sort of community that lives and works in the village during the proposed initiatives, in order to enliven a center that is otherwise dull and desolate, with the prospect of enhancing its residential and tourist appeal as well.
For the fourth edition a new illustrated workshop, ceramics and artistic labs, performances of art, creation of an illustrated map of the murals and points of interest of the exhibition (made ad hoc by an illustrator) with a sort of treasure hunt starting from the map... All of this, of course, in addition to a new exhibition, new murals and the refinement of the other activities carried out so far.

PERcorso - The Pears of Sagron
A walk to discover the ancient "perère" of Sagron Mis and Gosaldo, among landscape, memory, botany, illustration, and creativity.
