The secret life of the deer - Behaviors and strategies of a noble animal Ready to meet the king of the forest through the eyes of scientific research?

The adventure begins with exclusive images of the radio-collaring of the does in the Park, a starting point to challenge yourself in an engaging hands-on trial: equipped with technology, we will search for a hidden collar in the woods to understand how zoologists track wildlife movements. We will then walk along the Marciò trail, to read the forest from the deer's perspective: we will explore the challenges of its habitat amidst the traces of the Vaia storm, the return of the wolf, and competition with other woodland inhabitants.

The journey will culminate in close observation of specimens in the wildlife area, a unique opportunity to decipher the biology and behaviors of this noble ungulate, before concluding the day with a guided tour of the exhibits at the Visitor Center. A complete path between science and nature to experience the Park as true protagonists of conservation.  The initiative will take place partly inside the Paneveggio Visitor Center and partly outdoors (weather permitting). Therefore, comfortable, layered, and suitable clothing for going outside is recommended.  In case of bad weather, the appointment will still take place, with appropriate adjustments to the activities.
