Brise and Forest Festival in the green Vanoi Valley, three days dedicated to the forest and its products.
The event represents one of the must-see appointments at the end of summer and will provide the opportunity to discover the “king of mushrooms” and other forest products, with traditional markets for typical and artisanal products, numerous food stalls, and themed proposals from the restaurants of Vanoi. Dedicated to enthusiasts and curious visitors, there will be two outings with experts to learn how to recognize Boletus Edulis.
Program
- 8:00 a.m.: guided outing with experts from the Costabissara Isola Vicentina Mycologists Association and local forest wardens. At the end, an exhibition and analysis of the collected mushrooms at a farm/restaurant, with the possibility of stopping for lunch at the farm or restaurant. Meeting point at the ApT Office in Canal San Bovo - 3:00 p.m.: opening of the Fishing Exhibition and Traditional Local Handcrafted Nativity Scene Exhibition from Various Countries around the World, at the Former Kindergarten of Caoria.
- 8:30 p.m.: "The State Forests of Caria today and the rediscovery of a document from the early 1900s on one of the last timber floating operations on the Vanoi River." Organized by the Provincial Agency for State Forests - Manica and Favero.
Caoria, Theater of the Oratory
During the days, it will be possible to visit, at the Former Municipal Sawmill adjacent to the Festival Tent, the exhibition "Col bel no se magna" curated by the Paneveggio-Pale di San Martino Park Authority in collaboration with the Historical Museum Foundation of Trentino, the Primiero Community, and the Local Slow Food Chapter.
The "brise" must be delivered by 1:30 p.m. on September 20 at the mycological exhibition at the Parish Oratory of Caoria, upon demonstration of compliance with the mushroom collection law in force. Neither mushrooms nor frozen porcini will be accepted.
