ECOdolomitesGT 2026: the international "green racing" event aimed at promoting sustainable mobility among the most beautiful mountains in the world!
The automotive race is a regularity and consumption rally reserved for "road-legal" electric vehicles and counts towards two championships, one international and one Italian: the International FIA ecoRally Cup and the Italian Championship for Alternative Energies ACI-Sport.
The international championship, 11 competitions in the 2026 Calendar, in Spain, Czech Republic, Portugal, Slovenia, Iceland, Lithuania, Latvia, Great Britain, China, and Italy, concludes in the Dolomites, declaring the winners.
The route spans Trentino and Veneto, starting and returning to Primiero San Martino di Castrozza. From here, the competing cars head towards scenic corners of the Dolomites, crossing several mountain passes as well as all the locations in the Primiero San Martino di Castrozza, Vanoi, and Mis areas with the Pale di San Martino dominating in the background.
In this competition, one of the most important international test drives for electric cars in the world, road-legal electric vehicles can participate.
The electric vehicles will be charged thanks to an exclusive "Charge Park", powered by renewable energy supplied by Primiero Energia, specially set up in the Fiera di Primiero district on Via Fiume, in front of the Primiero San Martino di Castrozza Town Hall.
Program: the race consists of an afternoon of technical and sports checks, an evening race on Friday, during which crews will cover about 150 km, a day of racing on Saturday (on a course of just over 250 km), and a morning race on Sunday, of about 120 km more.
The logistical hub of the event is the EDGT Charge Park in the square of the Fiera di Primiero Town Hall. Here, administrative and technical checks take place on Friday, October 16, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and the first vehicle departs at 4:00 p.m..
The finish line is expected on Sunday, October 18, starting from 12:00 p.m. (first vehicle), also near the Charge Park.
The classification display is scheduled online at www.ECOdolomitesGT.org on Sunday, October 18, at 2:30 p.m. Following that, at 3:30 p.m., the award ceremony will take place in the Conference Room of the Palazzo delle Miniere in Fiera di Primiero.
