Do you have plans for the evening? What if we did our daily walk in the evening?
Listen to this... a guided walk in the heart of the Paneveggio Pale di San Martino Natural Park under the full moon. Silence, the glow of the moon illuminating the peaks, and in the distance, you can almost hear the call of some wild animal. Beautiful and adventurous, but where shall we have dinner?
Here comes the highlight... a stop at a mountain hut where, as the sun sets, we will be treated to an excellent aperitif with wines from Trentino and a tasting of Primiero cheeses, followed by a local menu... I can already imagine it... steaming polenta with typical Tosèla or a good plate of strangolapreti and then the Trentino desserts... delicious beyond belief!
And there's one last surprise... joining us on the trip will be an author, one of those who truly write books about mountains.
Program:
- 7:00 p.m. – Meeting promptly at the parking lot located just below the Malga Venegia. At this time, you will definitely find a place! Go past Pian dei Casoni and arrive in about 2 km of gravel road to the large parking area located at the foot of the Malga Venegia. The meeting point with the guide is next to the barrier that marks the transit prohibition beyond this point. From here, our brief walk begins. Aldo will be our guide and will explain the meaning and characteristics of the Natural Park, but at the same time, he will be the author of the book that will keep us company throughout the evening.
- 8:00 p.m. – The welcome at the mountain hut couldn't be better: a special aperitif that becomes a journey through the wines of Trentino. All paired with the tasty cheeses from the Primiero Dairy and, with a bit of luck, a sunset that will make all of your followers envious... it's the magic of enrosadira, when it happens it leaves you breathless!
- 8:30 p.m. – Dinner at the mountain hut
The moment we've all been waiting for! The menu for the evening at Malga Venegia, prepared for us by Ivan and Romina, includes:
Antipasto of cured meats and cheeses from Primiero
Strangolapreti with Fontal cheese fondue
Ricotta and almond cake
Water, Trentino wine, and coffee are included
For the little ones:
Homemade potato gnocchi with meat ragù
Sausage or hot dog with sautéed potatoes
Ricotta and almond cake
During dinner, the author Aldo Martina will entertain us with some live stories from the book “Once Upon a Time...”, a book for all ages that tells of the animal world between fantasy and reality, referring to myths, legends, clichés, and fake news. - 10:00 p.m. – Backpack on, it's time for the night adventure! Guided by the light of the full moon enveloped in the great silence of the night. Our guide will have a series of tools that may help us, with a bit of luck, to perceive the presence of some wild animals. Experiencing the Park in the evening will be a unique sensory experience, and the full moon will make it even better!
- 11:00 p.m. – Return to the starting point. Your special evening ends here, now you can look forward to a good rest to make the most of the experiences in the coming days!
