Screening of the dramatic film "The Plain Cities".
Carlobianchi and Doriano, two broke fifty-year-olds and lovers of alcohol, await the return of their friend Genio, who fled years earlier to Argentina. During a night of drinking towards Venice, they meet Giulio, a shy young student, who ends up joining their journey. As they cross the Venetian countryside, the two recount their past to Giulio: with Genio, they had run an illegal trade in glasses, which ended with his flight and their ruin. Upon finding Genio, they discover that the hidden money is lost under an abandoned construction site. The journey becomes a path of growth for Giulio: in the end, he affectionately bids farewell to the two new friends and leaves for Verona, ready to turn the page.
