En Plein Air Workshop with a stay in Val Canali!
The course aims to deepen the technique of watercolor, starting from the study of materials, supports, and the use of water, through processes useful for the representation of landscapes. In particular, the wet-on-wet technique will be explored to achieve depth and atmosphere, along with composition, color choice, and various execution methods.
The subject will be given a sublime and atmospheric interpretation: the drop of color will gradually transform into a landscape. We will start with small formats where we will explore different technical modes with sketches and exercises, gradually moving to larger formats.
Lessons will be organized with a combination of theoretical demonstrations, practical work, and moments of discussion and critique.
The course is intended for those who already have experience in watercolor.
