The Calakili for the Solivi , organized by the Ghebo 92 Sporting Club in collaboration with the Mezzano Cultural Tourism Initiatives Committee, is a non-competitive mountain race over a distance of 9.770 km with an elevation gain of about 500 m.
During the event, with the collaboration of the A.P.A.S. association, the "CalaBaby" will also take place, a guided walk on a comfortable route, reserved for children (0-12 years) with a ranking valid for the "Mini Circuit of Primiero".
Within the event, this year there is also a trophy in memory of Angelo Zeni to which those registered as blood donors can participate (just show the FIDAS registration card).
Route: The competitors, after passing through the characteristic "canisele" of the village, will head towards Imèr to tackle the short but challenging climb of Coladina which leads to the splendid route of "Via Nova". An old agricultural road completely restored, leads to one of the most beautiful and relaxing trails of the Primiero valley with a passage over the Tibetan Bridge. Amidst woods and farmhouses, after facing another quick up and down, through Raie and Frontal one reaches the hamlet of Pieve, to then return to Mezzano via the scenic road of via Molaren and via S. Fosca, arriving at the finish line in Mezzano in piazza Fontana amidst two rows of cheering crowds.
"CalaBaby" Route: a mini circuit through the streets of the village measuring 1,000 meters with a 25-meter elevation gain.
Program
- 8:30 a.m.: gathering in Piazza Brolo in Mezzano, starting and finishing point
- 9:30 a.m.: start of "Calakili"
- 9:35 a.m.: start of "CalaBaby"
- 12:00 p.m.: beginning of the awards ceremony
- 12:30 p.m.: spaghetti meal in the square for participants and supporters
Registrations: at the start, until half an hour before the competition begins. Blood donors are advised to present their card at the time of registration (Memorial Angelo Zeni)
