Screening of the documentary film "The Last Summit".
Tom Ballard was one of the most brilliant and talented climbers in the world. In 2019, in an attempt to summit one of the most dangerous mountains in the Himalayan range, Nanga Parbat, the British climber and Italian Daniele Nardi lost their lives. The circumstances of their disappearance remain unclear, shrouded in a heavy snowfall of assumptions and conjectures. A few kilometers from the site of their discovery, 25 years earlier, Alison Hargreaves died on K2. The English climber, one of the greatest of all time, was Tom Ballard's mother. The Last Summit, a documentary directed by Chris Terrill, follows Tom's sister, Kate, on her journey to Nanga Parbat to say a final goodbye to her brother.
