Quijote and Sancho traverse streets and squares, searching for each other among alleys and balconies, involving the audience in moments of intense poetic strength and celebration, where street theater techniques (live music, stilts, fire juggling, flags) are employed to return the flavor of Cervantes' work in a popular and unexpected perspective.
“Quijote!” is a tribute to fantasy and imagination, dedicated to all those who have lived and continue to live to assert their own truths. The old man who goes mad from reading and his foul-smelling squire were created to be an easy target for cruel jokes.
