NO is a show that explores the difficulty of defining one's personal boundaries. The performer encounters the demands of the outside world, personified by a microphone: a victim of increasingly insistent and invasive questions, she finds herself unable to give her consent. From this condition of limitation her rebellion emerges: actively taking control of the microphone, she transforms into an active subject, finally able to assert her own voice and autonomy.
Annalisa Limardi begins her artistic training at the Contemporary Dance Course of the Paolo Grassi Civic School of Theatre, where she engages with various techniques. After graduating, she moves to Florence where she studies acting at the two-year program of the Teatro della Pergola. In 2020, she starts working as a performer, appearing in various Italian theaters. Simultaneously, she develops a strong interest in playwrighting, leading her to decide, in 2024, to personally commit to it. The focus of her research concerns the structural dynamics of power in social contexts, with particular attention to the condition of the feminine.
