Jennifer Taufer is a figurative artist, engaged between sculpture and painting, born in Trentino, in the Primiero Valley; for several years she has lived and worked in Carrara, after graduating in sculpture from the Academy of Fine Arts in Verona.
Her artistic journey begins with wood sculpture and extends to other materials, with a preference for 'additive' sculpture. She is a figurative artist who spans sculpture, painting, drawing, and illustration. The focus of her artistic exploration is the human body as an approach to reality, as a form of thought. Her works invite empathetic engagement with the expressed physicality. The body acts as a medium, as an interface, not simply as a passive shell, but as a form of being and perceiving.
For the first time in her career, she presents her work in Primiero. She has exhibited in: Vienna, Florence, Pietrasanta, Biella, and Carrara.
