A talk&taste dedicated to the flax supply chain and how the life cycle of the plant, from cultivation to weaving, marked the seasons and daily life of the Primiero community, particularly for women throughout the year.
Participating in the dialogue will be journalist Gianna Zortea, Lucia Trotter from Artelèr and Martina Scalet from the BeelArt Association. Through stories, family memories, and practical demonstrations, they will guide the audience in discovering the world of flax, from cultivation and processing of the fiber to weaving.
Gianna Zortea will lead the meeting by intertwining the story of the flax supply chain with memories and anecdotes related to her family's history. Lucia Trotter will share the experience of a craft tradition passed down through seven generations, while Martina Scalet will demonstrate the different stages of spinning.
