On May 4th, 1976, two members of the mountaineering expedition of Aquila di San Martino e Primiero reached the summit of the 7th eight-thousand of the earth, the “Dhaulagiri.” A success in every way; anticipation, patience, direction, stubbornness, suffering, and capability are the components that made the conquest of the peak possible.
Now, it is right and necessary, after 50 years, to make the new generations aware of everything that was done for this mountaineering, cultural, and sporting success. 2026 will mark the 50th year since the summit was conquered; for this reason, this memory will be brought to life through an evening of slideshow presentations, attended directly by members of the expedition.
Admission by free and conscious donation. The proceeds will be donated to charity to associations operating in Nepal.
