Thirty years after his passing, the Primiero Community comes together to remember Cardinal Joseph Bernardin (1928-1996), tireless promoter of peace and dialogue in the world. A deep bond that ties our land to Chicago!
Here are three special events you can't miss:
- Thursday, October 15 – 8:00 p.m.
Solemn Mass at the Church of Tonadico. - Friday, October 16
9:30 a.m.: Mass at the Arcipretale Church of Fiera di Primiero, presided over by Cardinal Archbishop of Chicago, Blase Joseph Cupich.
8:30 p.m.: Official commemoration at the Intermunicipal Auditorium of Primiero, where a special Lectio by Archbishop Blase Joseph Cupich will be held in memory of Cardinal Bernardin. The evening will be enriched by the participation of the Sass Maor Choir of Primiero, the Vanoi Choir, the Choir of the Primiero Music School, and the Primiero Folkloric Musical Corps. Moderating the evening: Elisa Faoro.
All citizens are invited to participate in this moment of great historical and spiritual value for our community.
