20^ Knödelfest - Festa del Canederlo

On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Knödelfest - Dumpling Festival, two days to taste dumplings of all kinds, but also to participate in workshops to learn how to prepare them. There will be entertainment for both adults and children, such as a petting farm, a horse-drawn carriage, cheerful musical accompaniment with Tyrolean music, and lots of fun!

Over 20 proposals of dumplings, savory or sweet, in broth or dry, with meat, cheese, or vegetables, vegan or gluten-free, served by local hotels with Trentino wines, beers, and grappas. 

In addition to tastings of dumplings, you will be able to learn how to prepare them with the workshop "How to Make Dumplings?". 
Don’t miss the exciting beer stein challenge and the fun contests in the square for the election of Miss and Mister Dumpling!

• At 9:30 a.m.: Opening of the craft market
  
  From 11:00 a.m.: "How to make dumplings", show cooking with Rossana
  
  At 11:15 a.m.: Parade through the main street of the town with the Folklore Groups of Mezzano, Castel Tesino, Val di Sole, the Primiero Folklore Music Band, the Folklore Band of Telve, Dolomiten Alpen Horn, the Schützen Primör company, the Primiero Conscripts, Fiera Carnival, and Krampus Primör.
  
  From 12:00 p.m.:
  

  Opening of the food stands with tastings of savory and sweet dumplings.
  Music in the square with the musical groups die Jungen Pseirer, Sabrina Salvestrin, Siver Music, and Dolomiten Bier Band

  From 3:00 p.m.:
  

  Itinerant show with Folklore Groups from Mezzano, Castel Tesino, Val di Sole, Dolomiten Alpen Horn, and the Folklore Band of Telve, in the town squares
  Children's entertainment with Wanda Circus and CircaTeatro
  Wood workshops with Irylab - Creative Workshop

  At 4:30 p.m.: Knödelfest Tour - Family walk along the "Via Nova"
  
  At 8:30 p.m.: Show “The Wheel of Fire” by the CircaTeatro company in Piazza Bivio
  
  At 9:30 p.m.: Election of Miss and Mister Dumpling 2026 in Piazzale dei Piazza
  
  At 10:15 p.m.: Concert event with SoundKlaut, to dance and sing to the rhythm of pure Tyrolean energy and more!

• “Wood workshops with Irylab - Creative Workshop”
  Little artists, great masterpieces! Discover the magic of craftsmanship! You will be able to color and assemble a fantastic keychain in typical Knödelfest costume or a special family postcard in wood! A unique result that will amaze everyone! Meeting point is at Heidi’s garden, reservation by clicking here, cost per child € 5.00 – activity aimed at children from 3 years and up accompanied by an adult.
  
  
• On both days, it is possible to visit the painting exhibition of local artist Loredana Loss “Color and Fantasy” at the Meeting Hall from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  
  
• Special Bike for everyone!
  On both days from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and from 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m., the MTB instructors with the Ciclabilmente Project are happy to guide you on a short and simple route around Imèr with the Special Bikes. A way to introduce everyone to special means and inclusive mobility in an active and experiential way. Reservations are appreciated directly by calling: +39 353 4073016.
  
  
• On Saturday and Sunday, itinerant carriages will accompany visitors from the parking areas to the entrance of the Festival.
  
  
• All the food stands at the Festival also offer a typical dish of the Primiero and Trentino tradition as an alternative to dumplings.
