This Refuge - built in the 1960s in a clearing facing the Feltrine Peaks at about 1,200 meters above sea level, where meadows alternate with woods - can be the destination for those seeking a bit of relaxation in very well-kept rooms (but the facility also has a sauna and wellness center), for those who love walks at not very high altitudes, and for those who appreciate good cuisine, with plenty of outdoor space for children's games. The management of the facility (which has been completely renovated and is easily accessible from Primiero) has reached the second generation.
Opening:
From early April to Epiphany
Before the hike, it is recommended to check the actual opening of the refuge by contacting the manager
Routes
A easy path leads to the Fonteghi Refuge, in the nearby Val Noana, in 1 hour and 20 minutes. Continuing along the forest road through Val Giasinozza, you reach Baita Cogolate (about 6 kilometers with an undulating gradient).
In the summer of 2015, the CAI of the area improved and marked some trails starting from the Refuge, such as the trail
744 Croce Padella (2 hours and 10 minutes of walking, difficulty E)
