Fantastic and very popular walk from Passo Rolle to the Segantini Hut, undoubtedly one of the most visited destinations in the Dolomites.
Starting point is Passo Rolle (1,984 m asl), near a large parking lot, located a few hundred meters from the pass, on the eastern slope towards San Martino di Castrozza. From the parking lot one climbs along the signposted route to the left of the ski lift ticket office until it comes out onto a forest road: the route is indicated with yellow and black markers, with visible special signs and with subsequent repeated indications for those who intend to reach Capanna Cervino and Baita Segantini, so as to minimize the dangers associated with crossing the ski slope. In fact, the itinerary includes in a couple of points the crossing of the slopes of the Castellazzo ski area.
