A small effort that is immediately rewarded by the magic of the blue hour, suspended between night and day, followed by the first light of the sun rising from the Pale di San Martino and illuminating the pristine peaks of the Lagorai range, giving you the thrill of being the first to leave a trace on the Tognola Uno slope, one of the top 10 in the Dolomites, in the company of the ski instructors from San Martino di Castrozza.
And if you don't ski? No problem, a wonderful guided snowshoe hike with our Eagles of San Martino awaits you on Alpe Tognola, along the Marmot Path.
PROGRAM
- 6:15 AM meeting at the departure of the Tognola cable car (boarding area). Everyone on time because the lift opens especially for you!
- 6:30 AM get ready… let's go up! Each cabin has the name of one of the peaks surrounding you printed on the outside: read it before boarding and enjoy discovering with the ski instructors and the alpine guide where your peak is located.
- 6:45/7:30 AM - Those who wake up early need to start with a healthy and rich breakfast: at the Tognola hut, you will be greeted with a fantastic awakening: from the renowned cheeses of the Primiero Dairy to the tasty salamis from the Taufer Butchery. But also the intense colors and aromas of juices and jams made from small fruits, honey, milk, eggs, and Trentino yogurt. A good herbal tea from Erborì makes the traditional desserts even better. In short, everything you need to recharge your energy!
- 7:30 AM - Now there's nothing left but to look around: today your eyes will be the morning webcam waiting for the sun to peek right there, at the end of the Pale di San Martino!!!
- 8:15 AM - Fasten your helmet and boots, strap on your skis… the Tognola Uno slope is all yours! Before descending, don't miss the valuable advice from the ski instructors of San Martino di Castrozza on how to enjoy the descent and leave your mark on the snow.
For those who do not ski, it's time to put on snowshoes and poles for a beautiful excursion in the company of one of our alpine guides, the famous Eagles of San Martino.
Alternatively, you can choose to return to the valley with the lift, perhaps after enjoying a lovely morning at altitude. - 8:45 AM - You can also decide to go back to bed… but know that at this hour, the Carousel of the Malghe is magnificent, and it's all for you!
