The president of SAT Cristian Ferrari presents 'Glaciers of Trentino' (by Alberto Carton and Cristian Ferrari, 2025), an unprecedented publication that explores the world of Trentino's glaciers, analyzing their evolution over time.
The volume, to which our Park also contributed, is produced with the support of the members of the SAT Glaciological Commission and numerous authors from different research institutions.
Erwin Filippi Gilli, a forest doctor and member of the SAT glaciological committee, concludes the review by narrating, through data and images, the last glaciers present in historic times on the Pale di San Martino and their recent melting.
