The Sports Group GS Pavione organizes two ski mountaineering races on the weekend of January 10 and 11, 2026, specifically a race of the Italian SPRINT Championships on January 10, 2026, and a MIXED RELAY on January 11, 2026.
Competition is open to all categories.
SPRINT RACE: Short-duration race (about three minutes) that includes sections of skating and booting, in addition to a descent on a marked course. Athletes compete in groups of six, with the first of each heat advancing to the next round, and the best six proceeding to the final. The total ascents and descents cover approximately 100 meters.
MIXED RELAY: pair race where each runner completes a lap one after the other. Each lap lasts about 6-7 minutes and includes two short ascents and descents.
The race venue will be in San Martino di Castrozza at Valbonetta.
