Two new and fizzy snowparks
Two new snowparks enriche the offert of entertainment in the ski area of San Martino di Castrozza and Passo Rolle. The park structures suit all levels.
San Martino Snowpark (mt.2000)
This new snowpark is located just in the heart of the Carosello delle Malghe in the Tognola ski area. Both slops and snowparks are served by two chair-lifts. The ski area offers the perfet slope both for the snowparks and for the boardercross.
The latest snowparks' novelty is the new area for beginners with Funbox, Kinked box and rainbow and a pipe junior.
A 800 mt long boredrCross slope; easy Jumps line (2-3- mt. long); medium jumps line (4-6-8 mt. long), medium rails line (funbox, kinked box, rainbow box, straight rails. Available a new Timber line!
Technical Data:
The park is divided into four lines:
- one line with demanding rails consisting of a 3-m flat kink and a 7-m descent, a 9-m incline and an 11-m long curved c-box.
- other less demanding lines, including a 6-m rainbow, a 2.5-m box, a 5-m and a 3-m straight run, a 2-m flat kink plus a 4-m descent and an uphill double kink.
- As per the jumps, there is a 15-m line with big air, a 10-m spine ramp and another line with two 4-m jumps.
At weekends the snow park is livened up with music and contests are organised throughout the season. At Passo Rolle it is possible to ski with the San Martino di Castrozza – Passo Rolle lift pass, with the Val di Fiemme pass and, of course, also with the Dolomiti Superski pass.
Rolle Railz Park
It is located between the runs Conca and Scandola in the upper area of Alpe Tognola and can be reached with two chairlifts.
It measures approximately 600 m in length with an average slope of 18-20% and with peaks up to 48%. It suits all levels and provides two jump lines, two rail lines and a giant spine ramp.
Technical Data:
- easy line: 1 3-m oblique rail, 1 1.5-m jump, 1 2.5-m jump, 1 4.5-m high and 15 m long spine ramp, and 1 quarter 4 m high for 8m bb.
- strong line: 1 2x3 kink, 1 4-m kicker, 1 12-m kicker, then come the spine ramp and the quarter.
- In addition, there are also 2 straight handrails, one 5 m long and the other 6 m, 1 rainbow, 1 mail box, 2 mini-jumps and the boardercross.
Free entry and free of charge only to snowboarders.
At weekends the park is livened up with music and several parties throughout the season.
