You can make an excursion on your own, armed with a map of the local paths, but for the less experienced walkers or for tougher itineraries it is always better to ask the mountain specialists: the Alpine Guides.

Local guides are traditionally called San Martino's "Eagles" because of their daring, accompanied however by high professional standards and a century old experience. The programme of excursions organized by the Alpine Guides is quite varied: from easy itineraries on a nature or history theme to routes which include climbing, and scenic routes through some of the most beautiful Pale locations.
