Sagra del Carmine & Carmenin

The “Sagra del Carmine e del Carmenin” goes back in the centuries arising from the religious worship of the Vergin Mary, it takes place in the third week-end of July in the ancient centre of Mezzano. Tradition, games and entertainment both for adults and children, typical dishes tasting, this the programme of the day.

Programme of the event:

On Monday July 16 the typical “Palio dei Musati” takes place along the village streets: eight jockeys ride some donkeys, representing the 8 towns of Primiero and named as the Mayor of their village, ride in a spectacular competition. Both riders and donkeys wear the badge of their town. Along the village’s streets and in the squares i twill be possible to taste typical dishes.
