Gran Festa del Desmontegar

From September 27. to 30. the cattle and their shepard come back from the summer alpine patures. Before the parade along the towns centre of Primiero, the cattle get adorned around their horns with flowers, needle-and hazelnut branches.

From very far you can hear them arriving with the ringing of their most beautiful and precious bells on the nack and their lowing.This traditional feast is today gives the visitors the opportunity to meet the actors aon nowadays mountain pasture-life.

The unfalling Desmontegada, the cattle parade, takes place on Sunday September 30. while guided visit to the local dairies, tasteful appointments and guided nordic walking excursions enriche the programme of this traditional four days-long event.
