La Desmontegada

The last week-end of September, from Thursday September 22. to Sunday Septembre 25. a big village feast celebrates the return of the cattle and their shepards from the summer alpine patures.

Before the parade along the towns' streets, the cattle get adorned around their horns with flowers, needle-and hazelnut branches. From very far you can hear them arriving with the ringing of their most beautiful and precious bells on the nack and their lowing.
